The Gnoshery is officially opening the portal to the Four Nations! Get ready for your first chance to play with the incredible new cards from Magic: The Gathering® | Avatar: The Last Airbender™ at our exclusive Prerelease event! This is the most exciting night in the MTG calendar, and we want you—the gaming community of Door County—to be a part of it!
The Grand Event: The Avatar Prerelease Sealed Tournament
Join us for a fun, friendly Sealed Event where discovery is the key! Prereleases are a low-pressure way for both seasoned players and newcomers to enjoy a new set together.
- Date & Time: THIS FRIDAY, November 14, at 6:00 PM
- Venue: The Gnoshery (Your local Board Game Cafe!)
- Entry Fee: $50
- Format: Sealed Deck (40-card minimum). Basic Lands are provided.
- Prizing: We will play 3 rounds. Every player who achieves a Match Win will receive an additional Avatar: The Last Airbender Booster Pack!
What’s Inside Your Prerelease Pack?
You’ll be channeling the spirit of the Avatar with a unique Prerelease Pack that includes 5 Play Boosters and a special Seeded Character Booster! This means your card pool will already have a starting direction, helping you immediately focus on mastering an element or two as you build your deck. Expect to see iconic characters, stunning full-art treatments, and new mechanics centered around bending the elements!

Dinner is Served! Fuel Up Before You Fight!
To ensure your mind is sharp and your belly is full before the first round, we strongly encourage everyone to arrive early and grab dinner!
The Gnoshery is more than just a place to game; we’re a cafe serving up delicious “Gnoshables.” Try the famous Gnome of Monte Cristo or the spicy Fire Hammer sandwich with one of our great coffees or refreshing house drinks. Come as early as 5:00 PM, grab a bite, and start building your deck in comfort!
