The Gnoshery
The Gnoshery was developed by the Head Gnome and Miss Gnomer as a way to bring Gnome Games to Door County tables and combine them with culinary delights in a way that provides visitors to Door County with memorable fun, food and fellowship at the tables in historic downtown Sturgeon Bay.
Our mission is simple, to provide a fun, safe and memorable experience for all that visit, and give each family a way to create memories together at the tables. We know that the way to our hearts is through food and play, and that’s what we provide to the visitors at The Gnoshery.
Great memories often start with great food and drink, and at The Gnoshery we’re proud to serve high-quality coffee and tea from Terra Verde. Whether you’re stopping in for a morning pick-me-up or settling in for an afternoon game, our drink menu is designed so you can create the perfect cup. We keep a selection of 10+ flavored syrups on hand, allowing you to customize your coffee just the way you like it—from simple classics to fun, flavorful combinations.
Of course, great games deserve great food as well. Our café menu features breakfast, lunch, and dinner options so you can enjoy a meal no matter when game time happens. From fresh sandwiches and salads to shareable snack boards and other “Gnoshables,” everything is designed to pair perfectly with a good drink, a great game, and time spent with friends and family.
With over a hundred games available to play in our Stay & Play Library and even more waiting on our retail shelves, there’s always something new and exciting to bring to the table. Whether you’re trying a game for the first time or looking for your next favorite to add to your collection, there’s no shortage of options to explore.
Our team—affectionately known as the Gnomes here at The Gnoshery—are passionate gamers themselves. We love helping guests discover new games and are always happy to make recommendations, explain rules, or help you find the perfect game to take home. Our goal is to make sure the fun doesn’t stop when you leave the table here—it continues at your table at home with friends and family.
Our space at 23 N 3rd Ave in Sturgeon Bay is part of the historic downtown, and is a beautiful 1880’s building with a lot of sweet history. It was a bakery for much of the 20th century, and is one on the National Registry of Historic places.
