The Gnoshery, a lively board game café with a full-service kitchen, is looking for a Full-Time Opening Cook to join our team! Position Details:
- Schedule: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM
- Hours: 32–40 hours per week
- Availability: Weekend availability required
- Start Timeline: We are looking to fill this position before mid-May
What You’ll Do:
As an Opening Cook at The Gnoshery, you’ll play a key role in daily kitchen operations, including:
- Opening Kitchen Operations: Setting up the kitchen for daily service, prepping ingredients, and ensuring readiness for breakfast and lunch.
- Food Preparation & Execution: Preparing and plating menu items with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and presentation.
- Attention to Detail: Following recipes and procedures precisely to maintain high standards across all dishes.
- Cleanliness & Food Safety: Maintaining a clean, organized workspace while adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
- Customer Interaction: Delivering food to guests and contributing to a positive, welcoming dining experience.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with both kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and shared success.
