Forget high-stress tournaments—our Mahjong mornings are all about connection, conversation, and casual play. This event is completely non-competitive and designed to be open to all levels of play.

• Brand new to the game? You are in the right place! We foster a supportive, friendly environment where learning is part of the fun.

• Seasoned tile-droppers welcome: Experienced players are encouraged to join, share their expertise, and help mentor newer players as we grow our local Mahjong community.

Event Details & What to Bring

We want to make joining as easy as possible while supporting the local spot that hosts us:

• Cost: Free! The event is free to attend with any beverage or food purchase from The Gnoshery’s delicious menu. Savor a fresh cup of coffee, a tasty treat, or a bite to eat while you play.

• Tile Sets: We’ve got you covered. We provide sets of tiles for customers to use during the event. However, if you have your own favorite set, customers are encouraged to bring their own set of tiles to use and share!

• Learn American Mahjong: Mark your calendar—we officially teach American Mahjong on the 1st Thursday of the month, making it the perfect time for absolute beginners to drop in and learn the ropes.
